Village Kids Afterschool operates out of the Greenwich House building (27 Barrow Street). ***Walkover service is available for PS 3 and other schools in the neighborhood. If you are interested in signing up your child please email our office to confirm options.
Enrichment Choices During registration, families will be asked to choose one specialty class for each weekday they select. In addition to their chosen class, students will have snack time, recreational sports and games, and free play. You can download the semester schedule below.
Pottery Workshop • Mondays** New This Year
Classes held at the Greenwich House Pottery School (16 Jones Street). 90-minute workshops led by experienced clay teachers from this beloved community school. Students will be escorted to the clay studios by Village Kids staff.
Spanish Club • Tuesdays** New This Year
During their recreation period, afterschoolers are introduced to Spanish language and culture in a playful environment. Using arts & crafts, songs, play-acting, and other fun activities, children learn words for common actions, colors, numbers, and other key vocabulary.
Payment Options Semester registration requires a 35% deposit which is non-refundable and non-transferable.You can choose to pay the balance in full or with a payment plan.
Enrollment Changes Requests for class changes will be processed during the first two weeks of the semester [subject to availability].
Cancellation/Refund Policy The deposit required at registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. The remaining tuition is refundable provided the cancellation request is emailed during the first two weeks of the semester.
Medical Form All students must submit a copy of their completed and signed Medical Form before they attend the program – please email a scanned version to the afterschool office. You can download the form here – Medical Form.
